Aizanoi Ride from Kutahya
On Saturday we completed a good OMM Observed Ride conducted by Paolo from the camp site at the EMOK Festival heading to Aizanoi, a large roman city with temple dedicated to Zeus near the village of Cavdarhisar. (Below the route starting from the camp site)
The riders: Mert Balın, Murat Yerdekalmazer, Emre Ersahin, Serhat Kılavuz, Mustafa Tamer and his friend Tolga. The ride started at 7.30 am in the middle of the camping site while everybody was sleeping and before it got hot. The usual "OMM observed ride" procedures were followed and everybody got their turns to be in front for almost 30km. First heading to Kutahya along Frigian Valley through the villages and then heading south to Afyon direction and then taking the Çavdarhisar direction from the main road.
The total route was 150+ km. round trip.
It was another great OMM ride and spirit in place: thanks to those who participated for making it a safe and a great ride. Also we should thank the "officer" at Aizanoi for the history lesson he gave while visiting the site. By the way, OMM Harley Davidson was tested and passed to be the "female magnet" one more time by Murat Y. on the way back.
But we all missed the scene unfortunately...
